Back / Front Office Supervisor

Compass Health Center is seeking a highly motivated Front Office Supervisor and Administrative Director to supervise in the area of Front Office, at our Northbrook, IL location. We are seeking applicants who can perform his/her duties with honesty, kindness, confidentiality, professionalism, conscientiousness. Compass is looking for someone who is a team player and has the ability to multi task.

Front Office Supervisor is responsible for:

  • Reporting to and assisting Director of Operations & Director of Patient Services
  • Overseeing all Front Office operations
  • Making sure that the intake appointments stay on schedule and keeping director of patient services aware of any lapse in timing
  • Communicate ongoing progress and issues to Director of Operations & Patient Services on a daily basis
  • Updating and Implementing Front Office procedures and manual
  • Training new front office staff members
  • Overseeing the creation of the monthly schedule for Front Office Staff
  • Maintaining confidentiality for all patients and abiding by the rules of HIPAA
  • Confirming accuracy of all patient paperwork – auditing patient charts
  • Managing the day to day administrative needs of patients/families/staff
  • Assessing and addressing situations that may need immediate attention
  • Updating and Maintaining Front Office emergency response plan and safety protocols and meeting with all new employees
  • Covering Front Office hours when short staffed

You would be the ideal candidate if you:

  • Strong leadership skills
  • Hold a Bachelor degree (preferred)
  • Previous experience in medical or insurance office experience would be a plus
  • Are able to relay detailed patient information in a compassionate and confidential manner
  • Are well organized and detail-oriented
  • Can work well under pressure
  • Enjoy a fast-paced, collaborative environment
