My Visit To Chicago
There are only two other cities in the entire country with more people than Chicago. The Windy City is huge, and it features 670+ attractions and 7800+ restaurants. I want to tell you what my visit to Chicago might include. I am going to look up two restaurants I would want to visit and three attractions or things to do. Perhaps you are planning a trip to Chicago, too, and you might get some ideas from the places of interest I have picked out.
Chicago Wildberry Pancakes
Let’s begin with breakfast. Out of over 1600 restaurants that serve breakfast in Chicago Wildberry Pancakes and Cafe is #1. Take a look at the pictures for both the pancakes and coffee on Trip Advisor. This restaurant on East Randolph Street has what is called a Signature Berry Bliss, and it is also known for its menu selections for lunch. There can be a wait at this restaurant, so keep that in mind. What’s more is Millennium Park is right across the street from this restaurant.
So you know where we are headed next, right? Millennium Park is one of Chicago’s top ranked places of interest, #2 in fact. You are still on East Randolph Street at this point, and Millennium Park spans from Michigan Avenue to Columbus Avenue. The Art Institute is also in that area, and it is the #1 attraction in Chicago. At Millennium Park, I would check out Cloud Gate or ‘The Bean,’ Crown Fountain, Lurie Garden, maybe go ice skating and hope for a concert, but it might be too early for that.
It is hard to describe what you would do in a place like Millennium Park. It is such a beautiful place with so many things to do, and you never know what’s going to be happening at the time. It is also hard to tell what is all there, but I would definitely want to check it out after breakfast. Now let’s look at another attraction.
I absolutely know I would have to check out Wrigley Field, either for a tour or a baseball game or both. This historic ballpark is on West Addison Street, and I wish I could just touch the ivy walls out in center field. This venue shows its age the reviews say, which of course is part of the place’s charm.
Compass Health Center
Compass Health Center in Chicago is cutting edge in our approach to intensive level psychiatric treatment. Our main goal is to help patients overcome debilitating psychiatric symptoms through scientifically proven treatment modalities. We take pride in ourselves for offering compassionate, superior, innovative treatment to the North Shore and Chicago area.
That’s five attractions in two separate places. I was going to mention another, but I have to get to the next restaurant. I have a really good one picked out. It is called Smoque BBQ, and it is North Pulaski Road. This place features St Louis Ribs, Texas sausage, brisket, peach cobbler and much more. Talk about a must visit!
Now that sounds like a day in Chicago to me. I would want to get to as much as I could in The Windy City, and these places are a great start for my visit to Chicago. Maybe you will make it by some of them, too, as you plan to visit the great city of Chicago IL.
