Alison Steele is a dedicated educator who enjoys supporting student needs by developing a strong positive rapport with students, families, and school teams. She taught for six years in Sycamore Community School District and four years in Wilmette School District 39 as a Special Education Teacher. She has worked with a variety of learners spanning from Kindergarten to 5th grade in both resource and self-contained classrooms. Most recently, Ms. Steele has worked as a Special Education Teacher working with students with emotional and behavioral disabilities.
Ms. Steele earned her Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education with a Special Education endorsement from the University of Iowa in 2008. In 2013, she earned her Masters of Advanced Practices of Special Education with an endorsement as a Behavior Specialist from Northern Illinois University.
