Emily Crane is a teacher with licensure and experience in elementary, middle and high school education. She earned her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her Master’s degree in education at DePaul University. Emily has spent the majority of her professional life creating progressive educational and social-emotional curricula for children and teenagers.
As an educator, Emily has supported a broad span of students for over twenty years. She has worked with children in preschool, elementary and high school settings. Most recently, Emily had been the Director of Student Services at a private school in Chicago, working with students and faculty to develop sustainable executive function skills as well as academic and emotional support plans. Emily is an education specialist for the Child and Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Programs, assisting students with their educational needs while at Compass and when they transition back to school.
