Child Group Therapist
Emma Weinstein earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Chicago, and her Bachelor’s Degree in Religious Studies from Dickinson College. During her graduate studies, she gained clinical experience working with children and adolescents in the Psychiatry Department at Ann and Robert H Lurie Children’s Hospital and as a member of the Youth Team at Access Living. Emma has experience providing individual, family, and group counseling, case management services, implementing tiered behavioral interventions, and attending to crisis situations. Throughout her clinical experience, Emma has utilized evidence-based practice such as cognitive behavioral strategies, dialectical behavioral therapy, and mindfulness techniques to assist children and families in meeting their goals. Emma has developed a passion for providing intensive short-term treatment to children and families focused on creating flexible supports and building transferable skills.
