Hannah Mittleman began her career helping individuals recently diagnosed with HIV learn how to manage the psychological toll of depression, anxiety, and traumatic stress on both the body and mind. She currently utilizes her expertise in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Exposure Therapy to treat mood and anxiety disorders. She is practiced in conducting individual, family, and group therapy at the residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient levels of care with both adults and young adults, utilizing a collaborative, skills-oriented approach. She values the importance of continued learning and self reflection to promote both personal growth as a clinician and to help others learn how to build a life worth living. Ms. Mittleman’s holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Loyola University of Chicago with a specialization in Mental Health.
