Heather earned her Masters degree in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. Heather has experience providing individual, group and family therapy in a variety of settings. Her primary professional experience has involved therapy with individuals and families impacted by trauma, relationship abuse and maltreatment. Heather also has experience working with families who have been impacted by adoption, and adolescents who have participated in wildnerness therapy or residential treatment, and are transitioning back to their home environment. Heather’s most recent experience involved working with military members and their families, providing individual and group therapy. In summary, Heather hopes to encourage individuals and families to better understand themselves, to recognize the ways that they can rely on their own strengths, and to build upon goals to improve their health and well-being.
