Young Adult & Adult Group Therapist
Jordan received her MAAT (Masters of Art in Art Therapy) from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. During her time at SAIC she completed a practicum at New Foundation Center and Rice Child and Family Center. Since graduating she has worked with clients of all ages and backgrounds in various levels of care, providing individual therapy, group therapy and family therapy. Jordan views the relationship between client and therapist as crucial for success in therapy and takes a relational and client centered approach. Jordan has received additional training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy and Art Therapy. She is formally trained as a facilitator in the Open Studio Project which has informed her work as an art therapist. Jordan is also involved in the American Art Therapy Association as well as the Illinois Art Therapy Association.
