Lead Adult Group Therapist
Kelly discovered her interest in mental health practice while working as an undergraduate research assistant in the personality lab at Washington University in St. Louis. After graduating, Kelly attended Loyola University Chicago’s School of Social Work and interned, in her first year, at SGA Youth and Family Services, where she provided mental health support to families and children enrolled in the organization’s Head Start program. Following that, Kelly interned at the Loyola Wellness Center, where she provided individual and group therapy to Loyola University undergraduate students. After graduate school, Kelly worked as an individual, group, and family therapist at Insight Behavioral Health Centers specializing in eating disorders and mood and anxiety disorders. She has received additional training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, The Family Based Treatment of Anorexia Nervosa, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. In her clinical practice, Kelly believes validation, empathy, and a non-judgmental stance form the foundation from which significant growth and change come.
