Child Primary Clinical Therapist
Kim received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Mount Mary University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her clinical experience has primarily focused on the child and adolescent populations addressing a wide variety of behavioral, emotional and social concerns. She has worked with children, adolescents and their families in many settings including, community mental health and school settings, private practice, as well as intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs.
Kim utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy and incorporates play and art therapy modalities. Her approach is strength-based, and trauma informed, while recognizing the importance of family involvement in the treatment process. Kim aims to develop strong therapeutic relationships while providing encouragement, hope and the tools and skills necessary for children/adolescents and their families to overcome their concerns and reach their full potential.
