Adolescent Primary Clinical Therapist
Megan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who obtained her Master’s degree in Social Work from New York University. She has worked in the field of social work for over 10 years providing individual, group and family therapy, primarily with adolescents. Most recently she spent 8 years working as a Student Assistance Counselor in a public high school in New Jersey. In this role she provided crisis intervention and individual and group counseling to adolescents with a variety of mental health issues including anxiety and mood disorders and substance use disorders. Megan also worked at a school based youth service program for adolescents providing case management and crisis intervention services. She began her career in social work at a family service agency providing short-term treatment to individuals and families, with a special interest in work with survivors of sexual assault and incest. Megan is passionate about her work with adolescents and believes in the importance of a safe and empathetic therapeutic relationship to help encourage growth and change.
