Young Adult Group Therapist
Melissa is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. She received her Master’s degree in Community Counseling from DePaul University. Melissa works to facilitate a client-centered, strengths-based approach to cognitive behavioral and dialectal behavioral practices. In groups and individual Resource sessions, she believes a core foundation of trust, realistic goal setting, and safe introspection guide meaningful growth. Melissa has experience working with adults and adolescents in both inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as a background in diagnostic assessment and clinical mental health research. Melissa is passionate about being a partner in therapeutic change; collaborating with clients to align with goals and values, confidence in decision-making, and building healthy and balanced relationships.
