Stephanie Simpson graduated from Miami University in 2003 with a degree in psychology, and she received her master’s degree in social work at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Since graduating with her MSW in 2005, she has worked in multiple mental health settings, including inpatient psychiatric units, community mental health agencies, and private practice. She is passionate about her work in family therapy, which provides a supportive environment to promote reflection and change. Stephanie is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT) and incorporates these modalities into a person-centered and solution-focused approach with her clients. Stephanie has an extensive background working with children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced depression, anger, anxiety, family conflict, and behavior disorders. Stephanie is committed to helping her clients and their families build insight, adaptive coping skills, and a life worth living.
