Young Adult Group Therapist
Steven works to bring increased insight and motivation for change to clients using DBT and ACT principles as guidance. He believes that a foundation of therapeutic trust is vital for quality care. Steven received his Bachelors from Bowling Green State University and his Masters in Clinical Psychology from Roosevelt University. Throughout his undergraduate and graduate experience, Steven spent time developing a passion for working with depression and anxiety within a number of inpatient settings and acquired Domestic Violence training during his internship. He also has experience working with child custody evaluations and respects the complexity and challenges of untangling family systems. He worked with individuals, families, and groups as he spent time working in the Self-Injury Recover partial hospitalization program at Alexian Brothers prior to joining Compass. He also served as clinical coordinator of the Adolescent After School IOP program where his passion for helping adolescents and young adults through DBT and CBT continued to grow.
