Adolescent Group Therapist
Talia earned her Master’s in Social Work, as well as her Bachelor’s in Psychology and Philosophy, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Throughout her academic career, she had the opportunity to work with clients across the age spectrum and from various demographic backgrounds. During her graduate studies, Talia developed skills in case management, individual and family counseling, and crisis intervention while working with at-risk youth and their families at Briarpatch Youth Services, and gained valuable clinical experience while working in a primary care setting as a behavioral health consultant at The Group Health Cooperative. Talia’s therapeutic approach is rooted in a desire to supportively meet clients where they’re at, while encouraging and empowering them to move forward. Talia is grateful to be continuing her professional development as part of the adolescent team at Compass.
