Medical Office Assistant
Taylor received her B.A. in psychology from DePaul University. After graduation, she began her career in health care working as an Emergency Department Medical Scribe at Rush Copley Medical Center. She was promoted to Assistant Chief Scribe after 6 months, and continued to scribe for physicians in addition to working in collaboration with the Chief Scribe to manage, schedule, and train the scribe team. During this time, Taylor also worked as a volunteer Crisis Counselor with Crisis Text Line where she gained invaluable experience in the mental health field responding to texters in crisis. At Compass, she continues to engage in her passion for helping people by assisting patients and staff with administrative tasks in hopes of facilitating the best possible care.
